KHALIFA AGANAGA CRITICISES KING SAHA OVER HYPOCRISY, SPILLS BEAN ON WHAT EXCATLY HAPPEND BETWEEN HIM AND KING SAHA
In the pulsating rhythm of Uganda’s music scene, friendships often harmonize like a well-composed melody. But occasionally, even the sweetest tunes hit a sour note. Enter the intriguing saga of Kalifah AgaNaga and King Saha, two artists whose once-synced beats now echo with unresolved tensions. The curtain rises on the Tubonga Nawe project—an anthem that reverberated across Uganda during President Museveni’s re-election campaign in 2015. King Saha lent his voice to this politically charged tune, earning both fame and fortune. But here’s where the plot thickens: Kalifah AgaNaga accused Saha of hypocrisy. “Why?” you ask. Well, it turns out that Saha criticized others who benefited from government projects while conveniently forgetting his own involvement. The Tubonga Nawe project reportedly filled Saha’s coffers with millions of Ugandan shillings, which he allegedly used to construct a luxurious mansion in Nakawuka. Kalifah didn’t hold back, urging Saha to return the Tubonga Nawe money before preaching morality. Fast-forward to Kalifah’s recent concert. Despite their past friendship, King Saha failed to create a promotional drop for the event or even making a phone to share knowledge about it" khalifah stated. Kalifah AgaNaga, ever the lyrical detective, pointed to Eddy Kenzo’s federation as the root cause of their rift. Saha apparently harbors resentment toward anyone associated with it. Kalifah reminded him that he, too, had sung the Tubonga Nawe anthem. The irony? Saha criticized those who benefited from government funds while standing on his own moral pedestal. And so, the once-harmonious duet between Kalifah AgaNaga and King Saha reaches its final bars. Kalifah suggests they part ways, like two diverging melodies seeking new compositions.
