PRODUCER NASH WONDER CRITICIZES UGANDAN ARTISTS FOR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND GRATITUDE
In a candid statement, renowned Ugandan music producer Nash Wonder has expressed his disappointment with the professionalism and gratitude of many Ugandan artists. Comparing them to international stars, Nash Wonder pointed out that artists like Davido continue to work with their original teams, showing loyalty and appreciation. "Ugandan artists don't remember where they came from," Nash Wonder remarked. "For example, Davido said he is still with his team to date, but Ugandan artists are very unprofessional and they don't help the people who helped them. That is why I work with upcoming artists only. I'm speaking as a stakeholder; I think most of our artists are greedy." He further highlighted the potential of producers, noting that many possess the talent to sing, citing examples like Dr. Dre and Don Jazzy. "Most producers can sing. For example, Dr. Dre, Don Jazzy. There is no producer singing here." Nash Wonder's comments shed light on the challenges within the Ugandan music industry and underscore the need for greater professionalism and loyalty among artists.
